Bognor and Arun have dominated the South West Sussex League in recent years, and were league champions for five seasons running between 1993/94 and 1997/98. They reclaimed the title in the 2004-05 season, after a run of Emsworth successes.
The South West Sussex League was formed in 1974 and has just celebrated its silver jubilee.
Each year, Bognor takes on allcomers at the East Preston Festival.
For the past five seasons, Bognor's Terry Peffer and Mick Plumb have captained the Sussex Under 125 team. Philip Wake, Donald Close, Martin and Ashley Eaves and Nick Mansfield are among Bognor players who have played for the U125s.
Bognor have played in divisions two, three and four of the Mid Sussex League. They opted out of the league to join the Portsmouth league.
At one time, Bognor met two evenings a week - Tuesdays and Fridays. The current premises, The Bognor Club, are the best members have enjoyed.
Club members are regular supporters of other events - the Portsmouth Jamboree and Crowborough are two venues normally on members' events calendar each year.
